    he Vivo Indian Premier League 2019 is in full flow and promises to be one of the most exciting seasons so far. Just more than halfway into the tournament, six teams are still very much in contention while two teams on the bottom of the IPL 2019 table are lurking on the outside. While the odds are against Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals for a playoffs spot, they can easily play spoilsport in the business end of the season. This Easter weekend, IPL 2019 sees all the times playing at least once and will be one of the most entertaining weekends. Let’s take a look at all the IPL matches and how do the teams lineup heading into the weekend:

    As the IPL 2019 head into the business end of the season, all teams can still make it to the playoffs. Although Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals have an outside chance, the way IPL 2019 has gone so far, it will very difficult to predict what the rest of the season will bring us. Chennai on the other hand will be going back to the drawing board after losing only their second match of the season against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Mumbai Indians are close behind them after picking up some form in the last week.

    Friday, April 19, 8 pm: Kolkata Knight Riders vs Royal Challengers Bangalore


    While cricket fans will be rejoicing for the extra day in the weekend, IPL 2019 on Friday will showcase a headline match-up as Royal Challengers Bangalore travel to the Eden Gardens to face Kolkata Knight Riders. The hosts are still in contention and will look to utilise the long week break they just had.

    Saturday, April 20, 4 pm: Rajasthan Royals vs Mumbai Indians

    Mumbai Indians who beat Delhi Capitals on Thursday, are a team on the up. They now travel to Jaipur to face Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in the first fixture of a blockbuster Saturday. Mumbai are one spot below the top while Royals are a place above the bottom.

    Saturday, April 20, 8 pm: Delhi Capitals vs Kings XI Punjab

    Two very equally matched teams, Delhi Capitals will be hoping to pick up the pieces and start again as they face Kings XI Punjab on Saturday. Capitals are fresh off their defeat against Mumbai and will be eager to turn the tide as they aim for a first playoff spot since 2012. Punjab on the other hand have beat them already this season and will be hoping for another Sam Curran hattrick when these two teams face off on Saturday.

    Sunday, April 21, 4pm : Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kolkata Knight Riders

    Upbeat Sunrisers Hyderabad who just beat league leaders Chennai at home will now welcome Kolkata Knight Riders in the first match on Sunday at the Rajiv Gandhi International stadium in Hyderabad. Both teams need the victory and will be hoping to be the better team on the day in what will be a mouthwatering clash in Hyderabad.

    Sunday, April 21, 8 pm: Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Chennai Super Kings

    Finally to end this weekend, we go back to the very first match of the IPL 2019. Royal Challengers Bangalore will lock horns once again against Chennai Super Kings as they look for redemption. A match that set the tone for the series, Chennai who thrashed RCB in the opener will feel the teams breathing down their neck and will want to retain the two-game cushion. This match comes to you live from the M. Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru.
