SUMMARY: Stars 0, Predators 0 (1st period)
The Nashville Predators will try to win again this afternoon in front of their fans as they host the Dallas Stars at 3 pm at Bridgestone Arena.
Peter Laviolette's squad lost 5-1 last Wednesday as the Stars scored four goals, including three on the power play in the opening minutes to tie the 2-2 series.
The Predators will need the offensive input of their big guns, while the first trio of Filip Forsberg, Ryan Johansen and Viktor Arvidsson have been rather quiet since the start of the spring tournament, totaling just two points in four playoff games.
"Our trio has had a lot of luck scoring in addition to playing well defensively in the first two games of the series. In the playoffs, we have to play on the 200-foot rink and take care of every little detail. However, in the last two games, we played the image of the team, that is to say, a little softly, "said the Preds striker, Filip Forsberg.
PK Subban and his band will also have to watch the little Norwegian striker Mats Zuccarelo, who has found the back of the net three times since the start of the playoffs.
